A driver app and live tracking, to the door.

Your own drivers take orders from their phone, your customers watch the order arrive, and handing it over takes the stock off your count. One delivery, seen by all three of you at once.

No more texting the driver to ask where the order is.

Without it, the order goes to a driver by text, the customer texts you to ask how long, and you text the driver. When it is done, somebody remembers to mark it and somebody else fixes the stock, later, if at all. Delivery puts the order on the driver’s phone, the progress on your customer’s phone and the result on your count, with nobody typing in between.

Is Cultivar one product or four?

One system with four parts. This is the part your drivers use. It delivers orders taken in your shop or typed in by your staff.

Can I run only this part?

Delivery works on the orders and stock in the back office, so the back office comes with it. Your shop and your menu emails are yours to add.

How do my drivers get in?

You invite each driver by email with their licence and vehicle details. They open the link, set a password and add the app to their home screen. You can suspend a driver in one click, and their access ends on their next tap.

Drivers take open orders from their phone.

When an order is packed and ready it appears in every driver’s list of open orders. A driver taps to take it and it is theirs. If two drivers tap the same order, one gets it and the other is told straight away. Nobody has to sit at a screen handing orders out.

  • Up to five orders in hand at a time
  • A driver can hand an order back if they cannot make it
  • No customer name, phone or street address until the order is taken

Everything the driver needs, on one screen, with one thumb.

A driver is standing on a street with a bag in one hand. The stop screen has the customer’s name and number, the address with a button that opens their own maps app, the items to tick off as they go into the bag, and how much to collect. Large buttons, nothing to hunt for.

  • Directions open in Apple Maps or Google Maps
  • An item checklist, so nothing is left in the car
  • The amount to collect, shown before they knock

Stairwells and basements have no signal. Everything the driver does at a stop is saved on the phone first and sent when the signal comes back, once and only once. The one thing that needs a signal is taking a new order, so the app does not let two drivers take the same one.

One tap at the door closes the order and takes the stock off the count.

The driver records who took the bag and how much cash changed hands, adds a signature or a photo of the doorstep if you want one, and confirms. In that one step the order is marked delivered, the stock leaves your count and a line is written in the stock history with the driver’s name on it. The delivery record and the stock record cannot disagree, because nothing writes one without the other.

  • Proof of delivery kept on the order
  • Nobody home or refused? The driver says why, and the stock stays yours
  • No second step back at the shop

Your customer watches it arrive.

From the moment the order is placed, your customer has one page that shows where it is: confirmed, being packed, ready, on the way, delivered. When a driver takes it they see the driver’s first name and the window. On the way, they see the driver on a map. They get an email and a phone alert at each step, so they stop asking you. The alert comes from your shop’s app. It is not a text.

  • Every stage, on the order page
  • The driver’s first name and the arrival window
  • Email, and a phone alert if your shop is on their home screen

The whole day’s deliveries on one board.

Every order that is going out today, who has it and where it stands: waiting to be taken, with a driver, at the door, delivered, or handed back. If something is stuck you see it while there is still time to do something about it.

  • Orders nobody has taken yet, at the top
  • Each driver’s orders, in the order they took them
  • Post an update or a new arrival window to the customer from the order

At the end of a shift the driver counts their cash in the app. It shows what they should be holding from the day’s deliveries and the difference, and the customer details are cleared from their phone.

The last step of an order that started somewhere else.

Delivery has no orders or stock of its own. It finishes what the other parts began, and hands the result back.

It delivers what the back office packed.

A stop completed on the phone is stock off the count and a line in the stock history.

It delivers what your shop sold.

The window the customer chose at checkout is the window the driver sees.

It tells your customer without you.

The same order updates go out as phone alerts and emails.

Questions owners ask.

Do you supply the drivers?

No. Delivery is for your own drivers. Cultivar is software; it does not employ, find or pay drivers.

Do drivers need to download an app?

No. The driver app opens in the phone’s browser and is added to the home screen from there. There is no app store, on iPhone or Android.

Who decides which driver gets an order?

The drivers do. Each takes orders from the open list, up to five at a time. Cultivar does not plan routes or hand orders out for you.

What happens when a driver has no signal?

They keep working. Arriving, ticking items and confirming a delivery are saved on the phone and sent when the signal returns, without being counted twice. Taking a new order waits for a signal.

Can the driver take a card at the door?

No. The driver records cash collected, or the customer pays ahead by a method you set and your staff confirm it. Cultivar does not process cards.

What can a driver see about my customers?

Nothing until they take an order. Then the name, phone number and address for that order only. Suspend a driver and their access ends on their next tap; closing a shift clears the customer details from their phone.
