What’s new in Cultivar.
Every update we ship, in plain language: what changed, what got fixed, and what is worth a look next time you are in the app. Cultivar is in private beta, so these are beta release notes.

Count each strain as you unpack, and nothing is filled in for you
Checking in a delivery is rebuilt around the box in your hands: each strain is a row you count up or down, and the line adds itself up. Nothing is added to Products until you finish, no strain type is filled in that nobody chose, and boxes, fractions and damaged items on an order are kept the way you said them.

Order in your supplier’s words, decide what it is when the box is open
Placing a purchase order no longer adds anything to Products. Each line keeps your supplier’s wording until the delivery arrives, and checking it in is where you say what it is: a strain you already sell, a new strain of a product you have, or something new. A purchase order’s total stays what you paid, whatever happens to the stock afterwards.

Paste your supplier’s list and it becomes the purchase order
Purchase orders now start from the list you already write. Paste it, fix the few cells we could not read, and mark it as ordered. Receiving is rebuilt around counting what is in the box, strain by strain, and the home screen opens on what needs you today.

A sandbox to try things in, and tiers you name yourself
Your organization now has a sandbox: a separate test copy you can fill with a working sample shop, click through freely, and reset whenever you like — nothing in it reaches a real customer. Product tiers become yours to name, and receiving and purchase orders stop showing figures from deliveries that were undone.

Money you can check, and stock you can trace
Mostly about numbers being answerable: what a batch cost to make, what your margin is, what profit looks like, and who moved which stock and when. Receiving also stops being a single button and becomes a proper line-by-line check against what you ordered.

Every list works the same way, and the numbers add up
The theme is consistency: the same table, the same row menu and the same empty state everywhere, rather than a dozen screens that each behaved slightly differently. Underneath that, two things worth knowing about — a discount that was never actually coming off the total, and a suspended account that could still be used.

Fixes across orders, products and stock
Heavier on fixes than features, deliberately. Several things you were typing into the app were not being saved, and a few numbers on screen were not telling you the truth. Those come first — then customer credit, one login across multiple businesses, and a much better time adding products.
